Brief: CGI Characters chase one another through a musical pinball machine, scoring more chips and rich chocolaty flavor.
(1-5) Details of the Double Sized pinball machine. A Double sized mixture was necessary to incorporate the more than a dozen motion control stepper motors required to make the repetitive moves coordinated with the CGI characters. I was required to do the graphic design as well as the physical design of the machine and the path of the characters.
The graphic design merely had to conform to the design guide-lines laid out by the Chips Ahoy Style Manual and incorporate their provided graphic elements. The actual path of the characters was a greater challenge, and finally the function of all the technical parameters of motion control mechanisms within my design ethic.
